Pope Francis has dedicated the year 2021 to St. Joseph. In honor of St. Joseph, Father Miguel Alvizures is walking from the Parish of San José Palencia, Guatemala to the Metropolitan Cathedral of San José, Costa Rica, a trek we call “El Camino de San José”. His goal is to raise funds to support the work of The Little Mountain School, which Father Miguel cofounded to provide education and nutrition to the children of his home village of Joya Honda, Palencia, Guatemala. Father Miguel is walking 750 miles from July to September of this year. We invite you to be a spiritual part of this journey by praying for Fr. Miguel and for the children of Palencia.
